Artist Statement:

Thanks for stopping by! I am a grassroots singer-songwriter, folk musician and multi instrumentalist (on 20+ instruments). I have frequented stages ranging from global conferences and hospital burn centers to the BB King Blues Club in Los Angeles, CA. Wherever I play, I never cease to be amazed by the the incredible ability for music to move, heal, inspire, and connect. 

 

On stage, I frequently play a 6 instrument set complete with feel-good oldies covers and original folk-pop to inspire niche academic audiences. I’m a lifelong musician and PHD student at MIT and Harvard MGH (Dartmouth, Stanford, Oxford Alumna). Think of me as a muse for your event. I’ve been featured at conferences ranging from The International Synesthesia Conference and SMPC (Society for Music Perception & Cognition) as well as BrainMind.

 

My songs feature lyrical lilts and harmonic chimes that harken back back to yesteryear while reeling in hope for tomorrow. Whether played on a dulcimer, piano, guitar or autoharp, audiences are enveloped in an array of sonic colours and lyrical textures. Each song reveals a inter-dimensional painting and creates a symbolic portal through space and time. I love exploring unique ways to draw audiences and create atmosphere amidst an event. I curate the experience with audience song or instrument voting as winning songs/instruments are played live.
